Texas Success Initative

The Texas Success Initiative (TSI test) is required for any student planning to enroll in a public two-year college, four-year university, or technical school.  Students seeking admission to an Educator Preparation Program must also take the TSI test.

Students may be exempted from the TSI by:

(1.) SAT: at least a 480 on the reading section and 530 on the math section
(2.)  ACT: a composite score of 23 with a 19 on both the math and English sections

It is the student's responsibility to complete the registration and pay the fee to the registration center.
