GHS MCJROTC named Marine Corps Reserve Association Outstanding Unit Award for 4th straight year

Granbury High School's Marine Corps JROTC program has been awarded the prestigious Marine Corps Reserve Association (MCRA) Outstanding Unit Award for the fourth consecutive year. This honor is the highest recognition a Marine Corps JROTC unit can receive, and it is a rare distinction given to only four units worldwide each year. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our cadets, and it further highlights the excellence that GHS strives for as an educational community.

In addition to this remarkable achievement, GHS has been was named a Naval Honor School earlier in the school year for an outstanding eleven consecutive years by the Commanding General of Marine Corps Training and Education Command. These accolades place our MCJROTC program among the elite, both nationally and globally.

The criteria for the MCRA Outstanding Unit Award include a range of factors such as cadets' extensive community service, involvement in school activities, academic achievements, leadership in clubs, and their accomplishments in public affairs and competitive events. The success of our battalion is not only due to the efforts of our cadets but also because of the unwavering support of the entire GHS staff. Your contributions, encouragement, and investment in our students have been vital to the continued success of this program. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to excellence. We could not achieve this level of recognition without your incredible support!
