Homecoming 2025

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10
- Homecoming Parade, 7 p.m. | The community is invited to the hometown parade that begins at the intersection of N. Jones & W. Pearl and travels west on W. Pearl St. towards Granbury High School. Spirit Rally & Fireworks will immediately follow the conclusion of the parade at Pirate Stadium.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
- Pep Rally, 9:50 a.m. | The 2025 Homecoming King will be crowed at the Granbury High School morning pep rally at Pirate Stadium.

Pirate Cove, 4:30-6:30 p.m. | The community is invited to support Granbury High School DECA at Pirate Cove, a pregame tailgate at the first home game on September 5 and Homecoming on September 12. DECA invites Pirate alumni, students, and mateys to join us for a time of fellowship and sharing purple and gold memories at our new tailgate style tradition. Vendors will be set up hosting family friendly games and selling Pirate themed merchandise in front of James Wann Sports Center. The event is free to attend. Businesses and vendors that wish to be a part of the event may click on the link below to register. Sponsorships are offered at various levels.
- Lady Pirate Volleyball, Varsity 5 p.m. & JV 6 p.m. | Lady Pirate Volleyball team will honor Dana Vollmer on Leta Andrews Court in the James Wann Sports Center at 4:45 p.m.

Pirate Football, pregame 6:30 p.m. & kickoff 7 p.m. | Granbury ISD will honor 2025 Athletic & Academic Hall of Fame inductees during pregame. The Class of 1975 Coming Home Queen and King will be recognized during the halftime ceremony, just before the crowning of the 2025 Homecoming Queen. Granbury Pirate fans are also encouraged to support the Lady Pirates in the James Wann Sports Center before heading to the stadium then stay in the stands for the Pirate Band postgame performance.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13
- Hall of Fame Breakfast, 10-11 a.m. | Granbury ISD Education Foundation (GEF) will host a Community Come & Go Breakfast Reception at GHS in the Galley, a student-run restaurant located in the Career & Technical Education Center (CTE). This event is open to the public. Reservations are required as seating is limited. Click on the link below to your spot!

Granbury High School Dance, 7-10 p.m. | Student Council invites GHS students grades 9-12 to the Homecoming Dance. Dance ticket sales begin August 25 and close September 12.
