Purpose of MCJROTC
The purpose of the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program, commonly referred to as "Junior ROTC," is to instill a value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment. It does NOT seek any particular commitment to the military.
Background
The Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps was established by Congress under Section 2301, Title 10, United State Code.
Challenges
MCJROTC offers a rewarding challenge to the 9th-12th grade student who seeks to develop their citizenship and leadership skills while working as a team.
