Details:
  • Event Date and Time: May 22, 11:00 PM - May 23, 5:00 AM
  • Event Venue: Alley Cats Entertainment, 1258 SW Alsbury Blvd, Burleson, TX 76028
  • RSVP / Parent Permission form is required by May 15 in order to attend.
  • All graduates must ride the bus to and from Granbury High School and the event venue. 
  • Graduates are to begin checking in at the bus (by GHS CTE main entrance), around 10:30 p.m., immediately following the graduation ceremony.
  • Graduates must be checked in at / loaded on the bus by 10:45 p.m.
  • Graduates who did not submit the RSVP / Permission form by the deadline will not be allowed on the bus / attend the event.
  • The buses will return to GHS around 5:30 a.m. the next morning. Parents are strongly encouraged to pick up their graduate from the high school parking lot that morning.
 
Read each agreement carefully before deciding to submit the RSVP / Permission form:
  • I understand graduates will not be allowed to enter the event venue without riding the bus.
  • I understand that no graduate is allowed to exit the venue during the event unless it is for a medical emergency.
  • I understand that as part of the sign-in procedures, the contents of the graduate’s bags or other belongings will be inspected to ensure alcohol and/or other illegal substances are not brought into the event.
  • I understand that a breathalyzer test may also be administered if there is a question about alcohol consumption by a graduate.
  • I understand that if any drugs or alcohol are found, the graduate will not be admitted, and he/she may be subject to the laws of the state of Texas regarding such matters.
  • I understand that the event involves physical activities and that there is always some risk of injury to a person who engages in physical activity.
  • I understand that the parent/guardian is liable for any damages that occurs as a direct result of the graduate's behavior.
  • I understand that portions of this event may be videotaped or photographed for future use by the Project Graduation Board and that the videotape may be shown at Granbury High School primarily to illustrate to parents/guardians, students and volunteers what activities take place during Project Graduation. I hereby grant permission for my son/daughter's participation at Project Graduation to be videotaped or photographed for that purpose.
  • I understand that by submitting the form, I am waiving legal rights and that if I have any questions regarding this form, I should consult an attorney before signing it. As a condition of participating in Project Graduation Event, I hereby voluntarily agree to waive any and all rights I may have to sue or otherwise bring any action against any persons and any organizations connected to Project Graduation for any injuries or medical situations that may arise as a result of participation in Project Graduation. I hereby release all persons and organizations connected to Project Graduation from any and all liability related to any loss, damages or inconvenience I, or my family, may experience as a result of participation in Project Graduation. The parties released from liability include the Alley Cats, Granbury ISD, the Project Graduation Board, and all individuals connected to any of these organizations. The graduate participant agrees that in the event of an accident/injury suffered by said graduate participant at Project Graduation, regardless of age, the emergency contact person on the permission slip will be notified.
  • I understand that to be eligible to load the bus / attend the event, the form must be submitted by May 15, and those who did not submit the form by the deadline will not be allowed on the bus / attend the event.
