At last night’s monthly board meeting, the following were recognized with Achievement Spotlights along with notable events:
- Oak Woods performed the Pledges at the meeting, let by student council Makiah Golba, Clark Dorr, Turner Atkinson, Hudson Peace and Principal Chelsey Gibson.
- Pride of Granbury All-State Band Members; Ivan Perez and Layla Escatel
- Granbury Pirate and Lady Pirate Swim Team All-State Qualifiers
- Granbury Pirate and Lady Pirate Playoff Qualifiers
- Granbury ISD’s assistant director of finance Houcine Chraibi for National Procurement Month
- Shottenkirk Senior of the Month: Kensington Loving. Shottenkirk Automotive Group awarded Kensington with a $500 scholarship. Kensington plans to attend Baylor to study biology and eventually go to dental school.
